MIG/MAG Welding - Intermediate Course BS 4872

To provide learners with the skills and knowledge to undertake MIG/MAG welding tasks competently and safely to BS4872. The course would be adapted to cover specific client requirements which will include: joint configurations and welding positions.
Outline of syllabus

  • Days 1 – 4 tutored welding practice, to include:
  • Weld preparation
  • Weld configuration
  • Day 5 completion of weld test samples

Test types

  • Flat (PA) or Horizontal (PC) or Vertical (PF) learner specified in mild steel in material thickness of 6mm to 12mm

Duration: 5 days

Venue: Doncaster Training Centre

Course fee: £775.00 + VAT
