Valerie Ayris
Valerie started her career in 1981 with Mothercare, she moved on to manage retail outlets for other major national retailers before training to be a Business Studies teacher. Valerie taught in local colleges and worked for training providers before working as a freelance Training Consultant helping training providers prepare for inspections. In February 2001 she received the ‘help call’ from DETA and six years later she is still here.
Following the recent restructuring of the company Valerie has taken on the role of Operations Manager and she is now responsible for the day to day running of DETA.
