Ken WhiteKen started his career as an apprentice maintenance engineer with a large manufacturing company in Doncaster, he progressed through the ranks and eventually became a production manager.  A family man at heart, Ken decided that he wanted to spend more time with his family and in the early 80’s he joined the training department of Doncaster Council, he then moved to Rotherham Council before joining DETA as Centre Co-ordinator in October 2001.  Ken’s current role involves supporting and assessing learners with their level 3 NVQs, ensuring all centre administration relating to the awarding body meets the required standards, internally verifying portfolios and liasing with external verifiers.
