Joan Currie
Originally professionally qualified in property management, Joan had 11 years experience at the sharp end before entering the training industry. She has taken periodic breaks from training to return to the field which has kept her in touch with the business world - an essential requirement of a trainer responsible for developing relevant Key Skills delivery for the up-and-coming workforce of the future. Joan joined DETA in January 2007.
Joan says “The best part of her job is when sitting alongside a Learner and the ‘penny drops’… it makes it all worthwhile.”
