Jane Woodrup
Jane worked in retail before training to be an assessor in 1997. Initially she provided training and assessment in retail, business administration and customer service. When the government introduced apprenticeship frameworks Jane trained as a key skills assessor and found that she had a real gift in this area. She joined DETA in 2002 specifically to deliver key skills and her 90% first time test pass rate speaks for itself. She is patient and understanding particularly with those learners who need a little bit of extra help, if a learner doesn’t understand her explanation she always has another method up her sleeve to help them solve the problem.
